The Autumn Sunset Blanket is a C2C (corner to corner) crochet blanket that uses Lion Brand Mandala yarn. Read on to learn about the design inspiration and all materials needed to create this beginner friendly crochet blanket.
This unique corner to corner blanket is made by joining horizontal panels as you go. The color changing Mandala yarn creates streaks of color that remind me of watercolor paintings and gorgeous sunsets.
In 2024 I decided to switch blogging platforms and completely remove ads from my site. I will offer some patterns as free patterns, while others will be paid only. Affiliate links help me monetize my blog since removing ads. When you shop the links for Furls, Lion Brand Yarn, or my Lion Brand kit through this blog post, you help support my business and I am so beyond grateful for that!
I love using Furls Crochet Hooks. I have had little to no hand and wrist pain since switching to Furls. This pattern uses a 5mm/H hook. Use the code HOOK15 for 15% off.
For this pattern I used Lion Brand Mandala Yarn. I absolutely loved watching how the colors fell along the way in these horizontal panels.
PDF Patterns: This project is easy to follow and the horizontal panels are joined as you go with no seaming! Pattern includes a full photo tutorial. It will walk you through how to to the basic C2C as well as how to join your panels.
