Inspiration: I have knit and crochet a few marled things over the years. There is something so motivating to me about the constant color changes and combinations. It makes a project move faster and never leaves me bored.

Important Notes: Feel free to experiment and hold any weights together – just know that your blanket will change size if you deviate and you may need to change hook sizes to accommodate. Holding two DK weights together would result in a smaller blanket, holding two Worsted weights together would result in a slightly larger blanket. The stitch repeat to change the size of this blanket is multiples of 2 + 1.

Pattern
Holding both yarns together, Ch 121.
Row 1: In the second ch from the hook, sc. *Dc in the next st, sc in the next
st* repeat until one ch remains. Dc in the last ch.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in the first stitch, *Dc in the next st, sc in the next st* repeat
until one stitch remains. Dc in the last stitch.
Repeat Row 2 until your blanket is approximately 50 inches (127 cm) long.
I highly suggest throwing this blanket in the washer and dryer once you’re finished. This give the blanket amazing softness and drape!
