knit cowl with ribbed hems and stockinette body

Knit the Everyone Cowl

When I was asked to create a knit cowl that could provide warmth, be pulled up over the face a bit while out in the elements (specifically while out running), and also be less fancy, more classic I jumped at the opportunity to do so. I love a good mindless project. I feel this cowl is the perfect cowl for literally anyone.

I typically design a lot of items that have lot of drape and movement. This one still has wonderful drape, but it's meant to snuggle around your neck and lock in that heat.

This cowl is knit in the round on circular needles and moves quickly. It's a great one for beginner knitters because it only uses knits and purls and is a free pattern here on the blog!
