In November 2020 I released the fingering weight version of the "She's a Wildflower" cowl in collaboration with Lora Camp of Campfiber Yarns. This is the perfect project for leftover mini scraps! The texture is simple to learn. If you can knit and purl and do some very simple increases and decreases then this pattern should be simple for you to navigate. In November 2025 I released the worsted weight version of this cowl. Not only is the worsted weight version more cost-friendly, but it knits up even faster than the fingering weight version, making it a great last minute gift! Scroll down below the fingering weight version to find all information about the worsted weight version. Both versions are now available as FREE patterns here on the blog. Be sure you're following or purchasing the intended version for yourself.

With MC, CO 118 stitches (119 if you use an extra stitch to join in the round). I used the German Twisted Cast On method for a nice stretchy cast on. I also suggest placing a stitch marker to mark the beginning and end of your round.
