The West Coast Winter Hat was inspired by my time spent living in Oregon as a child and visiting with my husband and kids as an adult. The stitches remind me of gorgeous little seashells.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Hooks Used: 5.5mm/I for the body and a 5mm/H for the brim (you could go tighter and use a G hook)
Construction: Crocheted in the round
Size: Pattern instructions are for an average adult size head, but could easily be adjusted. Pattern indicates how many stitches needed to remove or add in order to do so.
Yarn: Uses Lion Brand Ferris Wheel or any light Worsted (anything too heavy and your hat will end up too large and bulky). 171 yards/156 meters needed.

All dyed-to-order yarn is made by hand. Please expect a 2 - 4 week turnaround time on all pre-order yarn. This means that from the day your order is placed I have 2 - 4 weeks to dye, dry, and ship. If you place an order with in-stock and dye-to-order yarn together, your entire order will ship when the dye-to-order yarn is complete. All in stock yarn will ship within 1-3 business days.
