Into the Woods Blanket

Into the Woods Blanket

The Into the Woods Blanket is created by crocheting long Tunisian crochet panels to one another to create a jellyroll-style crochet quilt. Quilters: You're going to LOVE this collab! We have a FREE quilt pattern for you too! Read on to learn about the entire Hooked on Quilts Collection!

Inspiration

In 2023, WeCrochet reached out and asked me if I would like to collaborate and design five quilt-inspired crochet blankets for 2024. I excitedly jumped at the opportunity! The inspiration for this blanket came from a very abstract quilt that reminded me of looking out upon a forest of Birch trees in the cold winter sun. The splashes of color remind me of the black stripes of a Birch tree and the feathers of Chickadees, Cardinals, and Orioles.

Supplies Needed

  • Crochet Hook: I-9 (5.5 mm) Tunisian Hook
  • Yarn: Worsted Weight. Mighty Stitch.
